Revision & Proofreading
My name is A. Brailow and I am a professional book editor. My fields include [but are not limited to] fiction, nonfiction, academic, and journalistic works. I attained my BA in Writing, Rhetoric, and Communications from Transylvania University and a MA in Literature from American University. My current ongoing projects include two novels, one science fiction, the other standard fiction. In addition, I have years of experience in business that helps me in editing and producing marketable works.
As of now, I work as a senior editor with The Urban Writers with whom I am consistently developing my skills and taking on new literary challenges.
Some of my favorite books and personal recommendations are The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery, Persuasion by Jane Austen, and The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury.

My contract outlines the scope of the work that my client and I agree that I will complete, stipulating that while I can assist in preparing their work for publication and will make my best effort to advise and suggest changes to improve the writing, the decision to accept or reject my suggestion is solely that of my clients.
Payment for my services can be made in full or in installments, but my quote will depend on the length of the project and the deadline that my client wishes to set. For example, a 30,000-word document for which the deadline is in one week will cost less than a 45,000-word document for which the deadline is three days.
As an editor, I cannot at any time divulge, disclose, or communicate in any manner information that is proprietary to my client. In short, my contract is also a Non-Disclosure Agreement. In addition, I cannot judge the readers of any individuals associated with the companies or persons that might review my Client's work, but I may provide advice to the best of my ability.
